Urge the Senate Health Committee & Your Senator to SUPPORT AB X1 1

On Wednesday, January 23rd, California's health care reform legislation - AB X1 1- was heard in the Senate Health Committee. After a day-long hearing, during which committee members considered extensive public testimony, Chairwoman Kuehl announced that the committee vote would be postponed until Monday, January 28th.

Now is the time to contact all Senators about the importance of Monday's vote by the Senate Health Committee. It is vital that ALL Senators understand the importance of their support for AB X1 1 to California children. AB X1 1 is the best chance of getting health coverage for all California children, and much is at stake for children if no action is taken.

WHAT YOU CAN DO: Please CALL members of the Senate Health Committee and your own State Senator TODAY and urge them to SUPPORT AB X1 1! Senators especially want to hear the opinions of their constituents; every call makes a difference. Let them know that health care reform that ensures coverage for all California children must remain their top priority!
