Californians for Healthy Kids
Californians for Healthy Kids is a partnership of the
100% Campaign and PICO California Project. It is committed
to insuring all California children. With nine out of
ten children insured in California, only 800,000 children
remain uninsured. The goal is to finish the job of covering
all kids.
Outreach and Enrollment
More than two-thirds of uninsured children in California
are eligible for Medi-Cal or Healthy Families--they're
just not enrolled. The 100% Campaign has researched and
developed promising outreach and enrollment strategies
to reach uninsured, yet eligible, children.
Express Lane Enrollment
Express Lane Eligibility (ELE) is a way to expedite enrollment
into health insurance programs for large numbers of
uninsured children, specifically those enrolled in
other public programs.
Keeping Children Covered
Once children and their families are insured, the work
is not over. The 100% Campaign helps to ensure California
children remain covered by monitoring the extent to
which they are losing or keeping their health coverage
and developing promising retention strategies. |
