Huge proposed cuts to health programs, child welfare
services, child care, and education, combined with
the proposed elimination of CalWORKS, threaten to decimate
California families.
CalWORKS currently provides money for basic needs for
over a million children, and helps parents find jobs.
If eliminated, California will be the only state without an assistance program
