The 100% Campaign is a collaborative effort of Children Now, Children's Defense Fund and The Children's Partnership, with primary support from The California Endowment. These three leading children's advocacy groups have joined in a coordinated effort since 1994 to ensure that all of California's children gain access to affordable health insurance. Not only does health insurance improve children's well-being and help them reach their potential in school, investment in comprehensive health insurance for children is cost-effective by promoting access to early, less expensive preventative care and treatment.

The 100% Campaign uses every viable strategy--including key partnerships with the broadest possible range of community groups, community leaders and policy makers; research and analysis; and public education and outreach--to ensure that all of California's children receive affordable, comprehensive health insurance. Each partner organization brings a strong foundation of knowledge, skills and contacts in children's health.

Children Now is a nonpartisan research and advocacy organization working to raise children's well-being to the top of the national policy agenda. The organization focuses on ensuring quality health care, a solid education and a positive media environment for all children.

The Children's Defense Fund brings a long track record of national children's advocacy with special depth in children's health, a first-hand knowledge of successful strategies in other states, and a large extended family of California partners.

The Children's Partnership brings special expertise in health care advocacy along with a strong research and development (R&D) capacity to identify pressing new challenges and develop sound strategies to address them.
